Here's what people are saying about the 66-100:
"No matter which source or preamp I used, the sound of the ESA Sixty-Six was holistic, rich and dimensional with a remarkable sense of focus. I hadn't had a tube amp in hand for some time and found the Sixty-Six to be a pleasant surprise after living with solid state, particularly in the bass: it was quicker and tighter than I had expected.."
"I was impressed with the audio quality of the Elliott 66-100.
Warm, clean, beautiful sound. I noticed the difference immediately. It took my system significantly higher in listening pleasure."
Here's what I say about the 66-100: (of course I'm biased, I build them!)
A real powerhouse, this amplifier has a transparent quality that combined with it's bouncy drive and excellent bass control makes for a truly musical experience. This no-nonsense amplifier will deliver all the musical finesse that an audiophile / music lover would expect from a tube amp. Works great with more difficult loads due to it's low output impedance and high current drive (for a tube amp). Higher sensitivity speakers will reveal its transparency and ultra low noise. You'll hear detail and layers within the recording, stable imaging and powerful rhythmic drive. Excellent with rock, jazz or classical music.

The circuit is (loosely) based on the classic Williamson circuit. It features custom wound ultralinear output transformers in a low global feedback, low gain, low distortion and low output impedance topology. The parts are over-specified for longevity. The power supply is overbuilt with computer-grade 'large can' caps, filter choke, high-speed bypasses, solid state rectification and a huge power transformer for very stable regulation. The design has proven to be very reliable- the prototype has been running in my reference system for over 2 years on the original set of tubes; in fact, it is frequently pressed into service as the main amplifier in a PA system which I use for small events such as wedding receptions, talent shows etc. This amp will rock the house and sound pristine while doing so!
